update...

Sorry this post won't be with pictures, but it might be awhile before I get to that. So I will just write and let you know what has been going on.

*Back in July Mark put a new roof on our house while I was at girls camp :) A huge job but glad it is done!
*Tanner started Kindergarten August 31st and LOVES it! Since we live across the street from the school he gets to walk to and from all by himself. He thinks that is pretty cool...not that I don't like walking him it is that I can't :( The first day he didn't look back and wasn't nervous AT ALL to go! I did walk him the first couple of days and cried on the way home. My little boy is turning into a big boy!!
*Hunter is army crawling all over the house and getting into everything! He likes to pull himself up on everything especially while in his crib. Then he yells at ya (a happy yell) until you go get him. He is such a happy boy and we love him tons!
*As for me, I have been on partial bedrest for about 3 weeks now. I take care of the needs of Tanner, Hunter and myself during the day and then when Mark gets home from work he takes over. And when I mean "takes over", he does everything...cleaning, laundry, dinner, outside work, shopping if I need, and the boys. I have been having lots of contractions and have been in a lot of pain so he sends me to bed. Well this week I have been to the hospital twice for testing. The tests came back negative but they still put me on medicine to slow down or hopefully stop the contractions so that I don't go into labor. My goal is to make it 10 more weeks!! But I now have to be really careful...I have discovered I can't do much without having contractions, so that means I have been in bed! :( Hunter was shipped off to my in-laws and Tanner is with me. Tanner did not like sending Hunter off. He told us, "I don't want Hunter to leave. I like him home with me!" That was enough to rip my heart out because we don't like it either but I don't want to have this baby now either. This too shall pass, right? That is what I keep telling myself :)

So there you go...our update! I will soon post pictures of what we have been up to. Just be patient with me ;)

catching up...

Hey everyone! I have finally caught up on my blogging! Sorry that is has taken so long...it is getting harder and harder to make the time. If I have a minute of quiet I usually end up doing nothing but enjoying it. I have been a huge slacker on taking pictures and updating you all...so I will try harder especially since I have to spend more time sitting. So have fun looking at what we have been up to this summer :) there is still more to come but it has taken me so long just to upload these that I will do it another day.

ps...yes I am on partial bedrest :( it will be a long 3 1/2 months. I have to slow down a ton, which means more work for Mark...poor guy!

now 8 months...

Hunter is now 8 months!! I can't believe it...ha and it means that this baby will be arriving even sooner! Hunter probably weighs about 20 lbs now, has 6 teeth, is getting closer to crawling, and loves to jump! He is a very happy baby unless he has teeth trying to come it. It is nice waking up to a smiley baby that is just happy to be here :) He loves his big brother! and Tanner loves to make him laugh!

after his first haircut! no more wispy hairs :(

7 months...

Hunter at 7 months! during this month we also found out we are having another boy!!

Melaleuca picnic...

This year was our first attending the "Melaleuca picnic" and it was HUGE!! Mark and I were amazed at what was available and all the awesome prizes they gave away! They had blow up toys for the kids, really good food, horse rides, adult games...you name it they had it! It was a fun day...that Tanner especially loved :)

4th of July

This 4th of July we did things a little different...first Tanner's cousin, Ashlee, was baptized. Then we spent the day hanging out with family and then went to the fireworks at night. Sorry for not so great pictures :)

Painter and Tanner on the way home from the baptism watching Cars!

this is probably one of the last pictures you will see of me until this baby is born!! ha

Tanner and Ashlee

ps. Hunter was awesome that day!

father and sons campout

The end of June was Tanner's first father and sons campout. He LOVED it!! and can't wait until next year. (either can I) This is when they got back...

IT IS A......

Yesterday we went in for our ultrasound to find out how the baby is growing and of course to see what the sex is. And we are excited to announce that it is another BOY!! Yes that means 3 boys in our house (4 with Mark...wow I am seriously out numbered now) :) He is very healthy and getting stronger by the day! We got to watch him yawn, rub his eyes, and see his cute little feet and hands. We are grateful for this blessing in our lives and we love him tons already!
For those of you wondering how I am taking it...I just want you to know that I am happy and excited. I didn't go into this with any expectations because I am just glad that I am pregnant again! With all the complications we have had in the past, I will take any baby that I can get and just hope that he keeps growing healthy and strong. Of course any mom would love a daughter and maybe that time will come for me sometime in the future, but I love my boys! Plus when the father and sons campout and hunting trips come around just think how much fun I will have by myself!! :) I know that you are all jealous! ha ha jk
And I know I have been slacking on posting pics and updates, but with Girls Camp over and life a little bit calmer I will start catching you up soon!

6 months old...

My baby is growing TOO fast and time is flying! I am a little sad but excited to see all the new things he tries to do. We went to his doctor's appointment today and he weighs 18 lbs (54%), 26.75 inches long (56%), and his head is in the 65 percentile! He has his two bottom teeth...that popped in Friday and Saturday! That was a total shocker to me because he is such a good baby! I didn't realize he was in pain when he just wanted to be held...I thought he was just going through a needy phase! ha but I am not complaining at ALL! :)

He is eating cereal and veggies and likes drinking out of a cup. Wow! I keep telling him to stop growing and Mark keeps telling him to hurry up because when the next baby comes he needs to be potty trained!!! ha ha Mark's wishful thinking! But I want to enjoy every minute before another baby takes most of my attention away. Hunter has been such a blessing in our home! He is always smiling, laughing, and making all kinds of noise (not quietly either!). When he wakes up in the morning he just grins from ear to ear and waits patiently while I make his bottle. He is just happy to be here! We love him tons! and Tanner LOVES being his big brother!
