now 8 months...

Hunter is now 8 months!! I can't believe it...ha and it means that this baby will be arriving even sooner! Hunter probably weighs about 20 lbs now, has 6 teeth, is getting closer to crawling, and loves to jump! He is a very happy baby unless he has teeth trying to come it. It is nice waking up to a smiley baby that is just happy to be here :) He loves his big brother! and Tanner loves to make him laugh!

after his first haircut! no more wispy hairs :(

7 months...

Hunter at 7 months! during this month we also found out we are having another boy!!

Melaleuca picnic...

This year was our first attending the "Melaleuca picnic" and it was HUGE!! Mark and I were amazed at what was available and all the awesome prizes they gave away! They had blow up toys for the kids, really good food, horse rides, adult games...you name it they had it! It was a fun day...that Tanner especially loved :)

4th of July

This 4th of July we did things a little different...first Tanner's cousin, Ashlee, was baptized. Then we spent the day hanging out with family and then went to the fireworks at night. Sorry for not so great pictures :)

Painter and Tanner on the way home from the baptism watching Cars!

this is probably one of the last pictures you will see of me until this baby is born!! ha

ps. Hunter was awesome that day!

IT IS A......

Yesterday we went in for our ultrasound to find out how the baby is growing and of course to see what the sex is. And we are excited to announce that it is another BOY!! Yes that means 3 boys in our house (4 with Mark...wow I am seriously out numbered now) :) He is very healthy and getting stronger by the day! We got to watch him yawn, rub his eyes, and see his cute little feet and hands. We are grateful for this blessing in our lives and we love him tons already!
For those of you wondering how I am taking it...I just want you to know that I am happy and excited. I didn't go into this with any expectations because I am just glad that I am pregnant again! With all the complications we have had in the past, I will take any baby that I can get and just hope that he keeps growing healthy and strong. Of course any mom would love a daughter and maybe that time will come for me sometime in the future, but I love my boys! Plus when the father and sons campout and hunting trips come around just think how much fun I will have by myself!! :) I know that you are all jealous! ha ha jk
And I know I have been slacking on posting pics and updates, but with Girls Camp over and life a little bit calmer I will start catching you up soon!

6 months old...

My baby is growing TOO fast and time is flying! I am a little sad but excited to see all the new things he tries to do. We went to his doctor's appointment today and he weighs 18 lbs (54%), 26.75 inches long (56%), and his head is in the 65 percentile! He has his two bottom teeth...that popped in Friday and Saturday! That was a total shocker to me because he is such a good baby! I didn't realize he was in pain when he just wanted to be held...I thought he was just going through a needy phase! ha but I am not complaining at ALL! :)

He is eating cereal and veggies and likes drinking out of a cup. Wow! I keep telling him to stop growing and Mark keeps telling him to hurry up because when the next baby comes he needs to be potty trained!!! ha ha Mark's wishful thinking! But I want to enjoy every minute before another baby takes most of my attention away. Hunter has been such a blessing in our home! He is always smiling, laughing, and making all kinds of noise (not quietly either!). When he wakes up in the morning he just grins from ear to ear and waits patiently while I make his bottle. He is just happy to be here! We love him tons! and Tanner LOVES being his big brother!

the rest of June...

Holy cow how time flies! I am getting worse and worse at posting...so sorry! I am trying to be better :) So here are some of the things we did during June...and we are going back a little ways because I discovered I haven't posted some pics from awhile ago...
this is actually when we announced to Mark's family that we are pregnant...Easter Sunday. Hunter was 4 months old

here he is 5 months old (in May)...looking like a greek god! hanging out with dad

At the beginning of June Tanner and I finished soccer :) YEAH

here Hunter is almost 6 months old...

he is a very happy baby!!

And in between all of this we were able to go down to my parents...on a very quick trip...when my mom called on a Saturday afternoon to inform us that my dad was being put in as the 1st counselor of the new Stake Presidency! We hurried and packed and headed down! We went to their Stake conference that was combined with another Stake because they were splitting the two and making a third Stake. So they put in two new Stake Presidencies that day. And Elder Holland was the General Authority presiding!!

I can't describe in words the feelings I had that day listening to him and just being in his presence! The one word that comes to mind is "Home"...I felt at home with him in the room. Very peaceful and content. He gave and amazing talk to the youth that day and spoke of giving yourself to the Lord for at least 10 years of your life...especially during their time of very important decisions. He said if they would do that then the Lord will bless them for the rest of their lives. Some funny quotes he said were "We (parents) have been in your shoes, you haven't been in ours!" He was referring to when teenagers think their parents don't know what they are going through. And he said, "DON'T BE STUPID!" and "Don't EVER leave the Church!" At the end of the talk he gave everyone in the room a blessing. And being pregnant and having a 6 month old one of the things he said has really stuck out to me. He said, "I bless the little children, toddlers, infants, and babies coming into the world that they will be strong and be able to live in this very difficult world." After the conference we went to see my dad get set apart...I was five feet away from an apostle of God! Wow! He talked to Tanner and Parker and said that he had mission papers in his briefcase that he would love to fill out right now! And he even said hi to Hunter too. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget! I just thought I would share that with you all. :)

(on Monday is Hunter's 6 month appointment...so I will post more pictures and an update soon!)
