has it really been this long?...

As you all are figuring out, I am not very good at taking pictures and especially bad at keeping my blog updated. So we hope to find you all well and I will get some pictures on here soon!

we Hope...

you all had a wonderful Christmas! We love you all and wish you the best!
Since I am a terrible mom and forgot the camera to take to my mom's, I don't have any pictures from Christmas day. We recorded everything but didn't take pictures...so sorry. Hopefully I can learn to be better at that!

Christmas Party

This year we got together with Mark's siblings and their families Friday before Christmas. We had a blast and exchanged presents there because we were going to my parents this year. This is Tanner opening his first present...and he was totally excited! I didn't get the best reaction of all on the camera but this one is pretty good.

He was so excited to get a car mat with tons of cars from his aunt Sarah and uncle Clark!

tagged by Monica, Nicci, and Lindsey

Yes, I read all of the 6 things I didn't know about them one right after the other. So to be fair I had to put all three of you! One thing you do know about me is that I have a hard time keeping updated on my blog! But,

here are 6 things you may not know about me...

1. I am a freakishly (don't know if that is even a word) scheduled person! So in other words it is very hard for me to be spontaneous. I didn't realize it until I had Tanner and some might use the word controlling. He was very much so on a schedule...meaning he slept, ate, played, then slept, ate played, etc, etc, etc. My husband learned very early that if he decided to do something at the last minute it was a fight to get me to go along with it. To this day I am scheduled but work very hard to just go with the flow. sorry?
2. I didn't have any medicine during labor with Tanner. And as weird as this is...I didn't think labor was that bad, I was expecting a whole lot worse. I LOVED being pregnant also (monica and nicci) and wish that I could be more often. First of all it is a very good reason to get fat even when retaining water you have an excuse. Second it is amazing to feel the baby move and grow. Lastly I felt and feel privaleged that my Heavenly Father would trust me enough to raise His children!
3. Having said that in #2 and with many tears and prayers I won't be having the big family I always dreamed of. Not because I chose that but because I know that, the Lord I guess has something else in mind for me which has been really hard to come to terms with but I have faith in the Lord and feel peace in having this answer to prayer. So those of you that are a heck of a lot more fertile than I am....enjoy every minute and hug and kiss those cute babies (especially the babies of monica, nicci, lindsey, sarah, and ashlee!) one extra time for me, okay!
4. I want to become an interior designer some day! Currently I am working on getting back to school so that I can do that but family comes first so I might be 40 by the time I can graduate with that degree.
5. I am an emotional spender! I hate to admit that because I think it is embarrasing but I am. I have had serious emotional roller coasters in the last couple of years that it just hasn't been good for me to even go anywhere but the grocery store. Don't get me wrong...I still go to the mall and all the stores I want to shop in but I have to give myself a budget or it will get ugly!! Now if we had all the money in the world I don't think this would be a bad thing but since we don't...yah you get the picture.
6. And like Monica I am a little weird about my morning routine starting with my shower then hair then makeup. I even have a routine in the shower...I do it the same way EVERY day and if I miss a step then it is all messed up to the point that I could get out of the shower with conditioner in my hair because I forgot! (mark especially hates that...if you know what I mean :)hee hee)

Consider yourself tagged if you read all of this...

Thanks girls for sharing...it is so fun to look at your blogs on a regular basis and see how life is going! Even though we are miles apart this is a fun way to keep in touch and get to know each other better since our family get togethers at Grandma and Grandpa Huffs when we were little. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Love ya

Here is my little dragon! We searched all over to find a dragon WITH wings! We saw many costumes but none with wings...that was most important!

Pre-School!!

My baby is going to Pre-school!! I can't believe it! He started Sept. 5th and loves it. He goes 3 times a week (mom loves that!!) for 2 hours. It is great for everyone!

Look at the size of the backpack! It is about as long as he is!

Tanner is headed into school with his teacher Ms. Janet. His mom didn't even shed a tear...okay not big ones.

He made it through his first day at pre-school and I was very proud!

Tanner and Painter

Tanner decided he wanted to read to Painter. I don't know if Painter really appreciated it but it was really cute!
